Perlemoen Escapes aims to give you a boutique break away, allowing you to design your own holiday accommodation and travel and day outings.

Perlemoen Escapes will also assist you in organising your destination wedding, corporate function or breakaway holiday.

Based in Grahamstown, in the beautiful Eastern Cape, South Africa, Perlemoen Escapes offers you the best variety. From Elephant back safaris through a game reserve to the vastness and wonder of the largest coastal dunefields in the Southern hemisphere.



Golf

Experience the best golf courses the Eastern Cape has to offer. The Royal Port Alfred golf course is one of the true links courses in SA with breathtaking views over the ocean. The Fish River Sun and Bushman Sands golf courses, both designed by Gary Player, are among the top golf courses in the area. The Fish River Sun golf course enjoys views over the ocean with a challenging par 5 over the river – this course is a must for every golfer!!

Cultural/Historical

The cries of British settlers, Dutch Farmers and Xhosas rang out in the eighteen hundres as they battled each other for the hotly contested Fish River which formed a border during the Frontier wars of 1779 – 1878. Discover your roots and heritage by exploring towns such as Grahamstown, King Williams Town and Port Elizabeth. See Bartholomew Dias’s cross, planted in 1488 or discover Nelson Mandela’s place of birth, Mvezo and Qunu and explore the area where Mandela grew up. Township tours, traditional dances and real African cuisine are not to be missed.
